Writing Update:

I expect to be pretty busy all of June between work and getting ready for Realm Makers, so this is being written a couple of weeks before it is sent, but the main thing (which I will definitely be still working on when this sends) is that I'm FINALLY really getting into Game, Set, Match, the follow-up to Game On and Game Changer. Here's the blurb:

Ruby Powell is recovering from her unreturned crush on her best friend and former teammate, Oliver. Training with her older brother's team for superpowered teens gives her purpose and helps her prepare for eventual work as an actual superhero, and she's looking forward to their big "survival camp" excursion into the Mount Hood National Forest. When a new boy begins taking a romantic interest in her, maybe it's a sign that she can finally move on from heartbreak.

Oliver Shelby is on the fast track to superhero success. Juggling his sophomore year in college and a superhero internship, though, has worn him down. A summer spent with his old friends at Camp Sable sounds like just the ticket to revitalize himself. Why, though, does his heart hit the floor when he finds out his long-term "just a friend" Ruby has a new boyfriend?

Ruby's new guy is not hot on Oliver's presence either, and the two young men find themselves squaring off at every turn. When strange things begin to happen on their long-anticipated camping trip, though, there might be something more dangerous than jealousy and teen drama stalking all the Camp Sable kids.

This book is going to be mostly about the relationships. Oliver and Ruby are on the cusp of adulthood and are trying to figure out what that means and how to navigate it ... and if they should do so together.

These two have DEFINITELY been the slowest burn I've ever written, but they're kids, so that makes sense. I'm really loving exploring who they are and who they are becoming (Also Curran is great in this one so far. He's sarcastic, insightful, and supportive. Perfect little brother.).
