What am I working on now?

I am scheduling this email a couple of weeks ahead because between Realm Makers (which I hope to post a "how it went" about soon) and pulling more hours at my day job, I do not expect to have a ton of down time between now and July 4th. Because of this, some of this may be "dated" by the time you read it, but just generally...

I am working on the final book in the Supervillain Legacy Trilogy (Ruby, Oliver, and Curran's story). As of when I am typing this, I'm just over 50,000 words, and I think a little over halfway done with the story (I'm predicting 80-90,000 words for the final draft.). It's full of teen drama and a lot of good lessons about relationships I didn't intend to write, but I'm happy with how they are turning out. Paid members of my Substack can read it early (read it on Substack). The first chapters will be taken down soon, so make sure you read it while you can!
This is the last month to submit a story to the Self-Help and Other Fantasies anthology. We have a lot of great submissions so far. I'll be spending a lot of July working through them, making choices about which are going to be in the final book, and prepping for a KICKSTARTER.
I have another project I'm working on with author Lucy Winton which I hope to be able to tell you more about soon.

My first Non-Superhero publication in a very long time will be coming out this fall, Halloween to be precise.

My short story "It's Okay, Bigfoot Believes in You" will be published in The Queen Arrayed in Gold and Other Myths and Legends, coming soon from Queen Anne's Lace Publishing.

They've got a great author lineup and... my story contains Bigfoot so 'nuff said.
